Mission Statement

The Alzheimer Society of Washington is an organization of volunteers, family and friends of persons affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementing illnesses.  The Alzheimer Society's purpose is to reach persons affected by dementing illnesses with support, knowledge and resources to empower them in dealing with dementia; to develop in society an awareness and understanding of the overwhelming devastation caused by the dementias; and to bring about improvements in the social and health systems serving those affected by dementing illnesses.
